Bulgarian state should own Bulgarian cultural center in Odessa: Agency Chairwoman

The Bulgarian state should own the Bulgarian cultural center in Odessa, Rayna Mandzhukova, chairwoman of the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad, said at a press conference, cited by FOCUS News Agency. She says the Association of Bulgarians in Ukraine wants the Bulgarian state to buy the property and concede it to the Association.

Svetlana Dragneva, deputy chairwoman of the Association of Bulgarians in Ukraine, says a Bulgarian delegation will arrive in Ukraine at the beginning of 2010 to start talks and resolve the problem. She noted the district authorities have political and economic interests in acquiring the ownership of the center.
