Vladimir Mashkov receives special prize at Odessa Film Festival

Famous Russian actor Vladimir Mashkov has received a special prize of the First International Odessa Film Festival. The award was presented for his portrayal of Lieutenant Colonel David Gotsman in the TV series "Liquidation" by Russian director Sergei Ursulyak.

The actor’s work was assessed for its contribution to the cultural life of Odessa. "Of course, I will share this award with all the actors who starred with me in “Liquidation ", - said Mashkov. At the festival, he presented a new motion picture by Alexei Uchitel "Land", where he starred in the major role.

According to Mashkov, the world premiere of the film is to be held exactly in Odessa, and is scheduled for September 14. The TV series "Liquidation", filmed in 2007, is dedicated to the fight against crime after the Great Patriotic War. Mashkov played the part of a criminal investigator.
